How do I search for Events?

You can search for events using the Search bar, by entering a Date, a Keyword or a Location (or a combination any), then press FIND EVENTS.
(Note: the location search default is set to search within 100 km of your input town/city).
You can also search for events using the Filters, by opening the filters section then selecting any checkbox within the filters. The results are automatically generated.

The results can be viewed as a List (default), Month, Week, Map or as Photos. (See the drop-down menu).

How do I search for FREE events?

On the Home page, open the Filters and set the Price filter to Free. The results are automatically generated.
Please note: Although some events are free to enter, there may be additional costs at some venues that have to be taken into account; hence Free+.

Do all the events occur every year?

Most of the events are held annually, with some held biennially and some biannually; some even more frequently. Listed where known.

Are the events held at the same time every year?

In most cases they are, although quite a few are held over Easter when the dates vary.

Do you list every event in Australia?

That would be an impossible task (for us at least), be we do endeavour to cover events that are ongoing, popular and of particular interest.

Can I add an event that is not listed?

If an event does not appear on our site, but you would like it listed, please add it using our Submit Event page.

What if I find some incorrect information?

Please go to our feedback page and notify us of the information.

Can I send feedback on an event?

Sure, we welcome any information, whether it be site details or even photos. Go to our feedback page.
By sending feedback you can help provide a reliable and comprehensive source of information for others to find an interesting venue to attend.

Is it advisable to check the details of an event prior to turning up?

Most definitely. In most cases there is a link to a website for that particular event. There you will find much more information than is provided here. Remember, this is only a guide and should be treated as such.

Is there an explanation of terminology used on this site?

At pets allowed at events?

Some events do allow pets, but generally pets are best left at home away from crowds and noise. Most events allow assistance (guide) dogs. Some events allow pets at camp sites (CampPets) but not at the actual venues. Relevant information has been provided where possible.

Registration

Do I have to register to use the site?

No, but there is no cost to register, and there are advantages to do so.

What are the advantages of registering?

1. You are able to subscribe to our Newsletter that advises of early bird tickets, discounts, and of special festivals or events coming up.
2. You can add events to your favourite list.

How secure is my personal information?

We value your right to protect your privacy and only collect your name and email address to forward newsletters and advise of any competition wins. This information is not disclosed to any third parties.

Am I able to book tickets to events through this site?

Not at this stage, but that feature will be incorporated at a later date.

Do you have an App that does the same thing?

An app is currently being developed, but these things take time, plus we want to make sure this site is what people are after before an app is released.
